Arnold "AJ" Crowson, 72, of Athens, Ala. died in February 2006.

Formerly of Payneway, he was a retire auto maker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Goldie and Dude Crowson, and one brother, William Crowson.

Survivors include three sisters, Margaret Shelton and Helen Goucher, both of Texas, and Shelia Hubbard of California; one daughter: Maidalee Sweeny of Michigan; one son, Wayne Crowson of Alabama; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Joel McGraw officiating.
