Edward "Eddie" Douglas Ryals, 74, of Marked Tree died Monday, March 13.

A US Navy Veteran, he was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree and the Lepanto American Legion, Post 26.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Ryals; his parents, Augusta J. and Everette Ryals; and two sons, Mark Ed. Ryals and Kim Ryals.

Survivors include one sister, Alene R. Walker of Marked Tree; three granddaughters: Niki Mashburn of Jacksonville, Fla., Kari Fletcher of Harrisburg and Haley Ryals of Marked Tree and one great-granddaughter, Allison Elizabeth Fletcher of Harrisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15 at Central Baptist Church in Marked Tree. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Roller Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis.
