Marvin Franklin Blagg, 79, of Wilson died April 9 at his residence.

Born September 26, 1926 in Mt. Pleasant, Miss., Blagg was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He and his wife Venita Blagg were married 57 years before she passed away.

Survivors include three sons: Bobby Blagg of Wilson, Gary Blagg of Turrell and Dennis Blagg of Devalls Bluff; three daughters: Shelia Robertson of Hollow Rock, Tenn., Glenda Bloodworth of Crawfordsville and Brenda White of Proctor; one sister: Dale Blackwood of Tyronza; two brothers: Gerald Blagg of Wilson and Heckell Blagg of Rogers; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial followed in Bassett Cemetery.
