James "Cecil" Burch, age 87, of Scott, Miss. died Friday, April 7, at Delta Reginoal Medical Center in Greenville, Miss.

He was a life long farmer. At the time of his death he was co-owner of Cecil Burch Farms Partnership at Scott, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Freshour Burch, mother of his two daughters.

Survivors include his wife Frances Burch of Cleveland; two daughters, Joann Weathers and her husband Donald of Eudora and Joyce Morgan and her husband Jim of Keiser; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 10 at Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Vinson officiating.

Pallbearers were his grandsons: Keith Weathers, Henry Morgan, Chad Story, Joe Girdley, Justin Weathers, Bob Serio and Robby Cassvechia.

Burial followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto with Murphy Funeral Home in charge.
