Pearl Gidewell Brown, 72, of Trumann died Friday, April 14 at her residence in Trumann.

She was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Tom Smith, Larry Smith and Garry Smith; her first husband, Burr Glidewell; and her second huband John Brown.

Survivors include her son, Joe Glidewell of Tyronza; two daughters, Patricia Tucker of Osceola and Robbie Riethbaum of Trumann; three brothers: Herbert Smith of Bay, Richard Smith of Harrisburg and George Smith of Paragould; one sister: Dean McDaniel of Fair Oaks; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at Black Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Skaggs officiating.

Active pallbearers were Melvin Eudy, Pete Armstrong, Greg Armstrong, Rockey Bratton, Joey Bogard and Lloyd Martin. Honorary pallbearers were Jordan and Seth Glidewell.

Burial followed in Tyronza Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home in charge.
