He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Pilgrim, and a brother, Mack Pilgrim.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wirth Pilgrim; two daughters: Brenda Moore of Lepanto and Becky Pilgrim of Tyronza; four sons: Wayne Pilgrim of Caruthersville, Mo. and Randy Pilgrim, Bobby Pilgrim and Jason Pilgrim, all of Lepanto; his mother, Estylee Pilgrim of Lepanto; four sisters: Paulette Stovall, Shirley Rogers, Betty Jones and Joyce Gatlin, all of Lepanto; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 at Murphy Funeral Home with Huey Meherg officiating.
Active pallbearers were Brandon Pilgrim, Jason Britt, Larry Miles, Joe Strauser, Merle Allen and Terry Wirth.
Honorary pallbearers included Teddy White and Otto Carter.
Burial followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
