Nola Jane Jarrett, 18, of Clifty, formerly of Marked Tree, died May 19, near Best. She was born February 10, 1988 at Fort Smith. She was a 2006 graduate of Huntsville High School where she was active in drama, art and band.

Survivors include her parents, William and Connie Johnson of the home; one brother, Kendrick Jarrett of the home; one sister, Mara Jarrett of the home; two stepbrothers, Will Johnson of Marked Tree and Patrick Johnson of Bella Vista; one stepsister, Shelby Johnson of Marked Tree; her grandfather Earl Tacker of Marked Tree and her grandmother, Nola Tacker of Heavener, Okla.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 22 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Leslie Elam officiating. Graveside services were held at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were Noah Tacker, Matt Tacker, Justin Villines, James Chappell, Joey McConnell and Thomas Samuels.
