Bertha Nancy Elizabeth Herman, 88, of Lepanto died Monday, August 28 at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lepanto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Herman and one daughter, Willene Tittle.

Survivors include two sons, William Charles Herman of Desha, Gary Herman of Lepanto; five daughters, Mary Vanhorn of Trona, CA, Barbara Couey of Harrisburg, Evelyn Griggs of Wynne, Sandra Laden of Tyronza, Karen Johnson of Lepanto; twenty-five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 30 at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 31 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Duffel officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Burial will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
