David Guy Bailey, 73, of Bullard died Sunday, Sept. 3 in East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Cuthand Cemetery with Rev. Bob Posey officiating. Wood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Bailey was born May 19, 1933 in Mt. Holly, Ark. the son of James and Gertrude Junkin Bailey. In 1958 he married Barbara Bankston in Stevens, Ark. He was retired from a telephone consulting firm.

Survivors include his wife Barbara of Bullard; his children: Bob Bailey of Little Rock, Cindy Bailey of Duncanville and Bill Bailey of Bullard; two grandchildren: Tyler and Lindsay Bailey; and two brothers: Wyatt Bailey of Houston and Sam Bailey of El Dorado.
