Frances Laverne Jones, 71, of Earle died September 14, 2006 at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

Born October 27, 1934 in Keiser, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Earle.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; Whitten Armstrong and Ruth Armstrong; three sisters: Inez Miller, Opal Armstrong, and Edith Koslosk, and one brother; James Armstrong.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Jones Sr. of Earle; one daughter, Dinah Hasson of Millington, Tenn.; three sons: Danny Jones and Johnny Jones, both of Jonesboro, and Jimmy Jones of Cherry Valley; one brother, Curtis Armstrong of Marion; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with burial following at Gibson Bayou Cemetery in Earle with Brother Tony Wells officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of arrangements.
