Michael Douglas Pipes, 43, of New Albany, Miss., formerly of Tyronza, died Dec.5 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Miss.

Born January 3, 1963, he was a carpenter and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jappy Pipes; one sister, Pamela J. Moore; and one brother, Jerry W. Orr.

Survivors include his mother, Gladys Pipes of New Albany, Miss.; one sister, Debra Sarris of Freeland, M.D.; and one brother, James L. Orr of Jacksonville, Fla.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 9 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with burial following at Tyronza Cemetery.
