William "Billy" Lewis Hannah, 81, of Corpus Christi, Texas, died January 2 at the home of his son, Gary Hannah.

Born on Jan. 18, 1925 in McMinnville, Tenn., Mr. Hannah was a longtime resident of Lepanto. He was the son of William Neal and Alberta Lewis Hannah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Maxine McClellan "Jeep" Hannah, his son Timothy Lewis Hannah, and his son Billy Wade Hannah.

Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Lewis of Kerrville, Texas; two sons, Ross

McClellan Hannah of Lepanto and Gary Neal Hannah of Corpus Christi, Texas, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who knew him simply as "Daddy Bill."

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan, 12, 2007 at the Lepanto Church of Christ at the corner of Kenwood and Miles streets.
