Maxine Lee Hendrix, 72, of Marked Tree died Jan. 21, 2007.

Born on Oct. 3, 1934, in Marion, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Marked Tree.

Survivors include her husband, James Wheeler Hendrix of Marked Tree; one daughter, Louise Cantrell-Salito of Mississippi; two sons, Wayne Hendrix and Carl Hendrix, both of Marked Tree; two sisters, Louader Simms of Wynne and Helen Petefish of Hardy and one brother, Franklin Frazier of Jonesboro.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. She was buried at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree. The services were officiated by Bro. Patrick Tucker.
