Nellie Pauline Smith, 82, of Trumann died Monday, Jan. 29 in her home.

She was born on July 28, 1924 in Florence, Ala., was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Smith; her daughters, Nancy Smith and Ivy Dean Russell and her son, Charles Homer Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Burchfield of Trumann and Josie Hatley of Marked Tree; five sons, J.L. Smith of Tyronza, Jimmy Smith of Stewart, Flor., Edward Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Flor., Jerry Smith and Billy Smith, both of Marked Tree; one sister, Florence Duncan of Marked Tree; one brother, George Scott of Marmaduke; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 1 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Bro. Lynn Vinson officiating. Burial followed at Marked Tree Cemetery.
