He worked for Ritter Telephone Company as an installation and repair specialist. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the First Baptist Church in Lepanto, a retired firefighter and a member of the VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Poskey and a daughter, Linda Wages.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Poskey, Jr. and his wife, Angela of West Memphis; two grandchildren, Stephanie Jernigan and Leasa Wages; and two great grandchildren, Austin Jernigan and Alden Jernigan.
A celebration of his life was held Monday, April 23 at First Baptist Church in Lepanto with Jerry Kausier officiating. Burial followed in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
