Joe Taylor, 70, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at his home.

A retired store manager, Taylor was born June 30, 1936 in Houlka, Miss. and was a Baptist.

He is survived by two sons, Darin Taylor of Memphis and Jody Taylor of Horn Lake, Miss.; two daughters, Amber Stewart of Hernando, Miss. and Penny Martin of Forrest City; four brothers, Homer Taylor of Spring, Texas, Sam Taylor of Cleveland, Texas, Dwight Taylor of Madisonville, Texas, and Dennis Taylor of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, May 19 at Twin Oakes Funeral Home in Southaven with burial in Twin Oakes Memorial Gardens.
