Mary Cooper Pitts, 10 months, was called to Heaven Wednesday, May 9 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Leroy Sr. and Ruby Malone and maternal great grandparents, David Browder, Fledie Browder, and Ester Browder.

Survivors include her parents, Robert "Trey" and Cyndi Malone Pitts of the home; maternal grandparents, Dale Malone and Opal Malone of Marked Tree; paternal grandparents, Robert Pitts, Jr. of Fairfield, Texas and Brenda Bullis of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Gunner Logan Pitts and Hunter Malone Pitts of the home; great-grandparents Robert and Nora Faye Pitts of Marked Tree; two paternal uncles, Wesley and wife Rachael Pitts, and DJ Bullis; and a paternal aunt, Leslie Wolf and husband Scott.

A celebration of Mary Cooper's life was held Saturday, May 12 at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree with Sheila Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Chuck Malone, Bryan Malone, Paul Malone, Jereme McFarland, Jamie McFarland, Tim Malone, Danny Moore, Jr., Brad Moore and Brayden Malone.

Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marked Tree Memorial fund in memory of Mary Cooper Pitts.
