Norma Irene Hale, 82, of Marked Tree died June 29 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marked Tree.

She was employed at the American Greetings Factory in Osceola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hale and her parents, Ruben and Christine Ward.

She is survived by one sister, Juanita Richardson of Maumelle.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at the Marked Tree Cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree was in charge of arrangements.
