Michael Dewayne McClain, 46, of Lepanto died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at his residence in Lepanto.

He was a self-employed contractor and of the Pentecostal belief.

He was preceded in death by a son, Josh McClain; and his father, Gene McClain.

Survivors include his mother, Wilma McClain; girlfriend, Stacy Scott; and her son, Anthony Scott, all of Lepanto.

A celebration of his life was held Saturday, Oct. 13 at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel at Marked Tree with Gary Andrews officiating.

Pallbearers included Kenny Counce, Greg Terrell, Jr. Kirby, Timmy Benton, Timmy Muse and Curron Turner.

Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery.
