Ann Lee Smith, 58, of Tyronza, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born May 12, 1949, to the late Norman Presley Oakes and Ethel Moefield Oakes. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Jesse Harston of Marion and Frankie Harston of Pontotoc, Ms.; five sisters, Diane Alexander of Pontotoc, Ms., Lotty Gale Beale of Jonesboro, Christine Armstrong of Athelstan, Charlene Morelock and Mary Amick both of Trumann; three brothers, Eddie Oakes of Cleveland, Tex., Charlie Oakes of Lepanto, and Ron Oakes of South Bend, Ind.; seven grandchildren and twenty two nephews and nieces.

Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Roller Swift Funeral home and from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Funeral services were held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
