Born Nov. 7, 1935, in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Mayburn "M.L." Walker and Clara Walker of Osceola. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Edge; one daughter, Carla Gray; one grandson, Dustin Gray; one great-grandson, Daniel Nichols; and two sisters, Helen Fleming and Jackie Scrivner.
Survivors include her mother, Clara Walker of Oscoela; three daughters, Linda Gatewood of Blytheville, Tinker Stobaugh of Armorel and Marie Huff of Cootoer, Mo.; six sons, David Gray of Manila, Frankie Gray and Tommy Gray of Blytheville, Julian Gray of Cherokee Village, Gerald Gray, Jr. of Armorel and Ricky Gray of Gosnell; three stepsons, Kenneth and Danny Edge of Boonville, Miss. And John C. Edge of Alabama; four sisters: Virginia Vance of Alamo, Tenn., Patricia Biggerstaff and Clarann Street of Jackson, Tenn. and Darlene Arnold of Osceola; five brothers: Bobby Walker of Newport, Billy Walker of West Memphis and Mayburn Walker and Jimmy Walker of Osceola; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Gary Hyde. Burial followed at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
