Wallace Harvey, 79, of Southaven, Miss. and former resident of Marked Tree died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Baptist Hospital Desoto in Southaven.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Addie Jones.

Survivors include his daughter, Melanie Napier of Southaven; four sisters, Beulah Shakelford of Memphis, Ruth Sandusky of Arlington, Tenn., Lena King of Marked Tree, Sarah Cater of Navarre Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Keith Shaw, D. Tyler Napier and Daniel Napier.

Visitation was held Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. with the funeral service following at 12 in Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Marked Tree. Pastor Fred Shackelford conducted the service.

Burial followed in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
