Nettie Bee Brewer, 79, of Etowah died Saturday, Jan. 5 at Jonesboro.

Born at Athelstan, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edford Brewer. She was a member of the Etowah Pentecostal Church of God.

Survivors include six daughters, Barbara Welsh, Linda Sims, Judy Darnell, Geraldine Moore, Dorothy Brewer and Jeanitta Collin; three sons, James Brewer, Andrew Brewer and Jackie Brewer; several half-sisters and brothers; 23 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 5 in Etowah Pentecostal Church of God.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday Jan. 8 in the church with Huey Meherg officiating. Burial was in Garden Point Cemetery at Etowah with Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola in charge.
