Kerry Thomas Richmond, 57, of Dyess died Monday, January 1 at his residence.

He was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church, a member of Good Earth Organization and the National Sweet Sorghum Organization. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall and Juanita Richmond and one brother, Donald Richmond.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Richmond of the home; two daughters, Brandy Sims of Lepanto and Kelly Scott of Manila; five brothers, Larry Richmond of Keiser, Ted Richmond of Dyess, Paul Richmond of Sherwood, Tim Richmond of Dyess and Dennis Richmond of Arlington, Tenn.; two sisters, Dorothy Hebert of Lumberton, Texas and Felecia Blanton of Sikeston, MO and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto. A celebration of his life will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Brother Larry Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in Potter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
