He was born on Feb. 26, 1944 in Dyess. He was Heavy Equipment operator and served in the Air Force. Womble was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Keiser.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Sharp Womble of Dyess; two daughters, Donna (Calvin) Bartlett of Ravenden, Diane (Larry) Winter of Gosnell; one son, John David Womble of Memphis; two sisters, Faye Thorpe of Dyess, Judy Jewell of Benton; three brothers, James Hall of Proctor, John Hall of Carlisle, Va., Bob Hall of Beebe; and 7 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, E.J. Hall and one grandchild, Ashley Nicole Bartlett.
The funeral service was on Mon. Feb. 25 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Bob Hall officiating. Burial followed at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto.
