Kenneth Eugene Oglesby, 61, of Osceola died Monday, March 17 in Osceola. The cause of death was a house fire.

Born in St. Louis, Oglesby was a former teacher and member of the Holy Church of Christ.

Oglesby was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Leomi Oglesby.

He is survived by a son Kenneth Oglesby, Jr. of East St. Louis, Ill.; two sisters-Deborah McKinny of Washington Park, Ill. and Sheila Fox of Rantoul, Ill.; two brothers-Ronald Oglesby, Stanford Oglesby and a half brother Kevin Payne all of East St. Louis, Ill.

Visitation will be at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, March 24 with services immediately following. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Minister James R. Williams will officiate with Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola in charge of arrangements.
