John Edward Huffins, 33, of Parkin died Sunday, May 18, 2008 in Fisher.

He was born May 17, 1975 in Osceola. Huffins was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Huffins of Jonesboro and his brother, Ted Arthur Huffins of Jonesboro.

He is survived by his mother, Aline Huffins of Jonesboro; his wife, Bonnie Huffins of Parkin; one step-daughter, Nicole Griggs of Wynne; two step-sons, Jonathon Griggs of Wynne, L.T. Tillman of Wynne; two sisters, Emily Lisa Moore of Paragould, Shelly Huffins of Jonesboro; and five brothers, Frank D. Huffins of Brookland, Dennis Huffins of Jonesboro, Jimmy Huffins of Jonesboro, Jason Huffins of Jonesboro and Richard Huffins of Jonesboro.

Funeral service was Friday, May 23 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Huey Meherg officiating. Burial followed at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah.
