Arthur Carl Austin, 68, of Tyronza died Friday at his residence.

A Navy veteran, he was a retired armed security guard and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include wife, Barbara Austin; daughter, Patricia Humphrey; stepdaughters, Lisa Norton, Kim Teague, Sheila Ponson, Teresa Miller and Ashley Waldrop; stepson, Keith Waldrop; sisters, Antonia Anderson, Lee Fredrickson and Katie Liberty; brothers, Bruce and Allen Austin; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Larry Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery.
