Karon Faye McGuire, 60, of Tyronza died Thursday, May 29, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born IN Dyess, she was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

She was the loving and caring wife of Allen McGuire of the home and the wonderful mother of one son, Eric Allen McGuire of Senatobia, Miss.; and one daughter, April Williams of Marked Tree. She is also survived by seven brothers, Wimphred Proffitt of Las Vegas, Thomas Proffitt and Raymond Proffitt of Marion, Bobby Proffitt and Berry Jack Proffitt of West Memphis, Willis Proffitt of El Dorado and Don Proffitt of Cabot; and three sisters, Jackie Hill of Tyronza, Sharon York of West Memphis and Betty Jean Robertson of Lexa.

She was an awesome grandmother to five grandchildren, Morgan Williams, Caden Williams, Piper Williams, Ethan McGuire and Evan McGuire.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 31 at Tyronza Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree in charge of the arrangements.
