Glenda Sue Miles, 59, of Lake City died Friday, June 27, 2008 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born Oct. 15, 1948 in Oklahoma, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Miles.

Survivors include three daughters: Betty Wright of Jonesboro, Brenda Manning of Grenada, Miss. and Sarah Miles of Birmingham, Ala.; five sons: Shawn Miles of Osceola, Josh Miles of Keiser, Will Miles of Dyess, Jay Miles of Birmingham, Ala. and Larry Miles of Lepanto; six sisters: Abbie Zelek of Nevada, Eva Wilson of Marie, Sandra Bishop of Marked Tree and Linda McGlaughin, Shelia Follett and Hazel Wagers, all of Joiner; two brothers: James Wagers and Gary Wagers; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 1 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Larry Deaton officiating. Burial followed in Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah.
