PARAGOULD -- Billy Earl Brewington, 74, of Paragould died Monday June 30 at his home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1933, at Tyronza, the son of the late Harley and Inez Hindman Brewington. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Beith.

A retired as plant manager for Memphis Easel and Wire, he was of the Baptist belief.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie Brewington of the home; sons, William Brewington of Jonesboro, Michael Brewington of Columbus, Ind., Bobby Carmikle of Trumann, Jerry Carmikle of Columbia, S.C., Scott Brewington of Southaven, Miss., and Tim Brewington of Paragould; daughter, Deanna Currie of Columbia, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

His life was celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3 at the Heath Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Currie officiating.
