Dollar General continues to make shopping easier and more convenient for customers in Marked Tree as they are pleased to announce the opening of its new store at 212 Hester Parker Drive. A grand opening was held Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6.

"Dollar General is committed to delivering a pleasant shopping experience that includes a convenient location, a well-edited assortment of merchandise, great prices and an updated store design," said Gayle Aertker, Dollar General's senior vice president of real estate and store development. "We hope our Marked Tree customers will continue to enjoy shopping at Dollar General's new location."

The new store will provide customers with the same value and convenience they have come to rely on, just in a different location. Occupying 9,014-square-feet of shopping space, the store employs six to 10 people.

The new location features a fresh layout, designed to make shopping easier and simpler for customers. Some of the new features include a permanent treasure hunt section, seasonal products featured in the center of the store, easily recognizable departments with visible signage and coolers which are more conveniently located at the front of the store.
