Melissa Elena Dabney and Justin Lee Armstrong.

The bride-elect is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Carol Dabney of Marked Tree.

Grandparents are Robert and Wanda Jones Jr. and the late Burk and Janet Dabney all of Marked Tree.

Melissa is a 2005 graduate of Marked Tree High School, is a cadet in the United States Army ROTC National Guard and in the nursing program at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis and Cindy Adamson of Marked Tree. Grandparents are Dorothy Armstrong and the late Leroy Armstrong, grandmother Opal Armstrong, and great-grandmother Odell Adamson all of Marked Tree Arkansas.

Justin is a 2004 graduate of Marked Tree High School and is a United States Marine who recently returned home after serving this past year overseas in the Iraq War.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, September 20 in an outside military setting at the Marked Tree First United Methodist Church. Pastor Patrick Tucker and Rev. Ron Williams will officiate.

Best man will be the brother of the groom Matthew Adamson and Maid of Honor will be the twin sister of the bride Michelle Dabney.
