Dr. William McAlexander, Jonesboro Surgical Associates & Kimberly Tyler, Lepanto
Kimberly Tyler of Lepanto, daughter of David & Tammy Tyler, has lost 100 plus pounds. With the help of Dr. William McAlexander, ( Dr. Mac) of Jonesboro Surgical Associates, Kimberly had the lap-band weight loss procedure in April 2007. Since her surgery she has lost 100 plus pounds, dropped seven sizes and gained better control of her overall health.

Her dad made a bet with her that If she lost 100 pounds, he would shave his head. He held to his promise and two weeks ago was more than glad to have his barber shave his head for the best bet he had ever lost.

Last week Kimberly spoke at a weight loss seminar for Dr. Mac. She told potential weight loss surgery patients of her experience with the lap-band procedure and how it had changed her life. She was only 18 when she had the procedure.

Her commitment and dedication at such a young age to lose the weight has been an inspiration to everyone around her. Kimberly is truly an amazing young lady. Her parents, family and Dr. Mac are very proud of her and what she has accomplished and the weight she has lost since April 2007.
