Sarah Moore Roy, 80, of Marked Tree died Sunday, July 13, 2008.

Mrs. Roy was a member of United Methodist Church and a former teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Densel Roy of Marked Tree; two daughters, Denise

Taylor and Diana Perkins both of Roswell, Georgia; grandchildren Alison Taylor of

Atlanta, GA, Savannah and Alexandra Taylor of Roswell, GA and Taylor Perkins

of Roswell.

On Saturday, July 12th, her children, grand-children and friends participated in the SBTF's "Race for Research" for the second year, under the team name "For Sarah."

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
