He was a member of the Church of God and was retired from American Greetings. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Jones.
Survivors include his wife Betty Jones of Lepanto; one daughter, Deborah Davis of Lepanto; one son, Malory Jones of Rivervale; three brothers, Earl Jones of Steele, Mo., Donnie Pentecost of Florida, Ronnie Pentecost Caraway; three sisters, May Wise of Caraway, Francise Holcomb, Effie Thompson, both of Paragould; three grandchildren, Jessie Cato, Austin Lane and Seth Everett Jones.
Services were July 15 all at Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto with Hughey Meherg officiating. Interment followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Miller, Brandon Baine, Donald Ruiz, Billy Lewis, Tommy Johnson and Jimmy Spencer.
