Densel Eugene Roy, 86, of Marked Tree died Saturday, July 19. Roy was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Air Force and World War II. He was the owner of J.H. Roy and Son Construction Company and farms.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Moore Roy. Survivors include two daughters, Denise Taylor and Diana Perkins both of Roswell, Ga., grandchildren Alison Taylor of Atlanta, Alexandra Taylor and Taylor Perkins both also of Roswell.

Services were Sunday, July 20 at Murphy Funeral Home with burial following at Marked Tree Cemetery. Ron Williams officiated.
