The Delta Quackers recently returned from the USSSA "AA" World Series in Oklahoma City. Teams from five different states, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri and Arkansas, vied for the title of World Series champion in the tournament which ran from Monday, July 14 to Sunday, July 20.

Unfortunately, while the Quackers finished with only a 1-3 record in the tournament, they came away with memories which they will never forget.

Among those memories, besides the Series itself, was the chance to see the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. While the players were too young to remember the event, it was nevertheless a moving experience for parents and players.

Other things the players were able to do included visiting local amusement and water parks, attend an Oklahoma City Redhawks vs Memphis Redbirds baseball game, and riding the River Taxi or a horse and buggy through the downtown area.

The Quackers were very appreciative of everyone who contributed to the team this year.
