Pearline Norman Smith, 92, of Lepanto died Monday, August 5, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in Lepanto and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Smith.

Survivors include one son, James "Bud" Thomas of Tyronza; one daughter, Hazel Thomas Carson of Lepanto; two brothers, Albert Norman of Brentwood, Calif., James Norman of Nixa, Mo.; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Thursday, August 7 in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
