National night out is a splash

Children of all ages enjoyed a last summer bash Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Tyronza National Night Out. The event, which was hosted by the Tyronza Police Department, was held in the city park. "We enjoy the chance to interact with our community and the children," said Chief Tony Turner. "We want them to know that we're the good guys, not just someone mom and dad said will get you when you're bad."
