Frances "Dot" Wallace Cook

Frances "Dot" Wallace Cook, 78, of Cave City, formerly of Payneway, died

Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Cook was a former member of Corner's Chapel Baptist Church for 58 years and

was currently a member of Desha First Baptist Church in Cave City. She was also a member of Nailbenders "Granny's On The Go."

She was preceded in death by her husband James Oliver Cook and son-in-law, Dale Shempert.

Survivors include daughter Revella Shempert of Cave City; three brothers, Travis Wallace

of Yorba Linda, CA, "Spud" Wallace of New Orleans, LA, HC Wallace of Bee Branch; two sisters,

Jewel Trotter of Muscle Shoals, AL, Kathy Boland of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Lara and Matt

Pettit, Matt and Amy Shempert; great-grandchildren, Allyson Elizabeth Pettit, Brandon

Jeffrey Pettit, Jakob Dilyn Shempert and Zackery Matthew Dale Shempert.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Loggins

and Pastor Glen Hurst officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
