Dorothy Orr, 74, of Bono passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008.

She was born in Pittsburg, Miss., to William and Ludie McMinn Harmon. Dorothy graduated from Lepanto High School in 1952 and served as Miss LHS the same year. She was a homemaker, loving mother and helpmate for her husband, Marion. Dorothy was of the Baptist Belief.

She is survived by her husband, Marion Orr of the home; two sons, Danny Orr of Indianapolis, Ind., and Michael Orr of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; a daughter, Diane Householder of Indianapolis; a sister, Neva Kennedy of Matthews, Mo.; seven grandchildren, David Martinez, Karina Lowe, Shannon Kohler, David Orr, Dusty Householder, Elisa Orr and Ethan Orr; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, William Leroy Harmon and R.D. Harmon; and a sister, Linda Kessler.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Langford-Bookout Funeral Home. Burial followed in Unity Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Allen Orr, David Orr, Gene Orr, Eric Orr, John Orr Jr. and Jason Orr. Honorary pallbearers were be Don Orr, Mike Orr, Clint Orr, Robert Orr and Randall Orr.
