He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eudell and Dovie Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Robbins Butcher of Marked Tree; three sons, Lucan Jim Butcher of Three Rivers, Mich., Sparky Edward Robbins of Elk Hart, Ind., Lance Q. Butcher of Marie; two daughters, Gina Bokker of Marked Tree, Crystal Montina Robbins of Jonesboro; Marie Bushong of Jonesboro, Tandy Robbins of Ohio, Tabitha Griffis of Earle; four brothers, Robert Sparks of Missouri, Teddy Butcher of Florida, Jimmy Sparks of Searcy, Larry Tesch of Kansas; six sisters, Retha Sparks of Marked Tree, Barbara Cantwell of Marked Tree, Cindy Edwards of Parkin, Ellemay Taylor of Georgia, Debbie Clayton of Harrisburg, Nancy Smith of Weona and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 9 from 9-10 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 10 a.m. with Gary W. Winters, Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in the Veteran's Cemetery in Little Rock.
