She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tyronza and owned and operated a clothing store.
Survivors include two sons, Lynn Layman, Jr., of Imperial, Mo. and David Layman of Lepanto; one daughter, Tamara Wyatt of Lepanto; one brother, John Frank Corley of Havana; two sisters, Beulah Spenser of Havana, Lorene Robinson of Danville; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 7, at First Baptist Church with Raymond Routon officiating.
Pallbearers were Mark McDaniel, Jerry Ming, John Bell, Bobby Bell, Walter Jones and Curtis Bell. Honorary pallbearers were the grandchildren.
Burial followed in the Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
