He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Robbins Butcher of Marked Tree; four sons, Lucan Jim Butcher of Three Rivers, Mich., Sparky Edward Robbins of Elk Hart, Ind., Lance Q. Butcher of Marie and Tandy Robbins of Ohio; four daughters, Gina Bokker of Marked Tree, Crystal Montina Robbins of Jonesboro; Marie Bushong of Jonesboro and Tabitha Griffis of Earle; four brothers, Robert Sparks of Missouri, Teddy Butcher of Florida, Jimmy Sparks of Searcy, Larry Tesch of Kansas; six sisters, Retha Sparks of Marked Tree, Barbara Cantwell of Marked Tree, Cindy Edwards of Parkin, Ellemay Taylor of Georgia, Debbie Clayton of Harrisburg, Nancy Smith of Weona and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 9 from 9-10 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 9 at Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree with Gary W. Winters, Sr. officiating. Burial followed in the Veteran's Cemetery in Little Rock.
