Edna Marion Waters Barron, 85, of Lepanto died Monday, Oct. 20, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was a member of the Lepanto Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Woodford Barron.

Survivors include three sons, Paul E. Barron of Morrow, Ga., Glen W. Barron of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. and John D. Barron of Bardston, Ky.; one daughter, Linda Masters of Lepanto; two brothers, Leland Rouse Waters, Jr. of Magnolia and H.J. Waters of Gainesville, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Ellen Swain of Alachua, Fla., Vida May Waters of Alachua, Fla. and Clara Nell Petree of San Antonia, Tex.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Watson Funeral Home of Trenton, Florida is in charge of funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mamie E. Waters Memorial Fund, Harding University, Searcy or the Lepanto Church of Christ L.H. Fielder Scholarship Fund.
