Thelma Addison, 69, of Memphis, died Wednesday, Oct. 22 in her home.

She is survived by four daughters, Tammara Sheperd, Jeanna Marie Addison of Memphis, Elizabeth Ann Ames of Jonesboro and Shelia Rochelle Addison of Tyronza; her father, Rev. Arthur Lee Townsend of West Memphis; six sisters, Virginia Murray of Memphis, Rosetta Petty and Marie Roberts of West Memphis, Shirley Williams of Marion, Felecia Smith of Texas and Barbara Alexander of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Rev. Arthur Lee Townsend, Jr., James Townsend, William Townsend of Memphis and Charles Townsend of West Memphis; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 with burial in Riverview Cemetery in Marked Tree.
