Virginia Mae Meeks, 82, of Parkin died Oct. 27, 2008, at her residence.

She was a member of Gladden Baptist Church in Parkin.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bunton Meeks and a son Bennett Ray Windham.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Watson and Peggy Humphries of Parkin; brothers, Jimmy Simmons of Marked Tree and Eugene Simmons of Lepanto; seven grand-children and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Marked Tree Cemetery with Jessie Hodges

officiating.
